Dr. Annalisa Baicchi – University of Genoa (Italy)

Annalisa Baicchi is Full Professor of English Linguistics. Her main research interests lie in areas of Cognitive linguistics, Construction Grammar, Contrastive Linguistics, and Inferential Pragmatics. Her main publications include Construction Learning as a Complex Adaptive System (Springer), Figurativity We Live By (Textus), Figurative Meaning Construction in Thought and Language (Benjamins), Sensory Perceptions in Language, Embodiment, and Epistemology (Springer).

Dr. Grzegorz Drożdż – University of Silesia (Poland)

Grzegorz Drożdż is an associate professor at the University of Silesia in Katowice, Poland. One of his areas of interest is English grammar (countability and uncountability, tenses, reported speech, prepositions, etc.) from the perspective of Cognitive Grammar and an application of this research to foreign language pedagogy.

Dr. Francisco Gonzálvez García – University of Almería (Spain)

Francisco Gonzálvez-García is Full Professor of English Linguistics at the University of Almería (Spain). He graduated in English Philology at the University of Granada (Spain) in 1993 and obtained another degree in Modern Foreign Languages and Literatures from the University of Bologna (Italy) in 1996 with the highest academic distinction.

Dr. Ana María Rojo López – University of Murcia (Spain)

Ana María Rojo López is Professor of Translation at the University of Murcia and Deputy Director of its International Doctoral School. Her research focuses on translation processes, particularly the role of emotions, creativity, and individual differences, as well as audience reception and the applications of cognitive linguistics to translation studies.

Dr. Francisco José Ruiz de Mendoza Ibáñez – University of La Rioja (Spain)

Francisco José Ruiz de Mendoza Ibáñez, Professor of Linguistics (University of La Rioja), specializes in cognitive-functional linguistics, pragmatics, and construction grammar. Key works: Ten Lectures on Cognitive Modeling (2021) and Figuring Out Figuration (2022). Editor of Review of Cognitive Linguistics and co-editor of Applications of Cognitive Linguistics. Former president of the Spanish Association of Applied Linguistics (2005–2011).
